ICCP2016 invites creative modes of presentation to illustrate liberatory and critical methods of representation and engagement. The Innovative Presentation format may be of particular interest to social movements, non-governmental organisations, community-based organisations, artists, and creative projects. These presentations are encouraged to be visual, engaging and dynamic, and may draw from media such as photographs, videos, documentaries, digital stories, paintings, music, dance, drama, and the like. Innovative Presentations will run for 60-90 minutes, with 15-20 minutes set aside for questions and discussion.
To allow for the creative expression that this presentation format invites, participants are not expected to conform to all the submission guidelines outlined in the section on General Guidelines for Abstract Submissions. Aside from the provision of standard audio-visual equipment (laptop, LCD projector and screen), the conference organisers are not in a position to bear the costs of other equipment that may be required for Innovative Presentations. Where indicated, the conference organisers will liaise with participants to facilitate arrangements.
Notification of acceptance will be emailed to the individual submitting the abstract.
